Application of eikonal approximation for calculating charge-transfer and ionization processes

  • Published:
Journal of Russian Laser Research Aims and scope

Abstract

Three-body eikonal approximation is applied to calculate charge-transfer and ionization processes. The results of calculation are compared with available experimental data and the calculation based on the quasiclassical (adiabatic) approximation, as well as with the rigorous three-body, quantum-mechanical calculation.
