The cosmic background radiation temperature at 1.3 mm

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento C

Summary

The cosmic background radiation temperature at 1.3 mm wavelength has been determined by studying the absorption lines of the interstellar CN toward the star HD 154 368. The resulting value of (2.832±0.072) K is consistent with the weighted average,T CBR=(2.78±0.01) K of the results obtained at λ≥1.0 mm.
