A ballon-borne experiment for observations of the near-infrared cosmological background

Summary

We present here a ballon-borne experiment to measure the near-infrared cosmological background in the (1÷5) μm range. The instrument, a liquid helium cooled telescope (250 mm,F/2), was built in the infrared laboratory of Istituto TE.S.R.E./C.N.R.-Bologna (Italy) collaboration with the Haverford College (PA-U.S.A.). It will be launched from the NSBF base of Palestine (Texas-U.S.A.) in May 1989.

Viene presentato un esperimento su pallone per la misura del fondo cosmologico nel vicino infrarosso nella banda (1÷5) μm. Si tratta di un telescopio (250 mm, F/2) raffreddato ad elio liquido, costruito nel laboratorio infrarosso dell'Istituto TE.S.R.E./C.N.R.-Bologna in collaborazione con l'Haverford College (PA-U.S.A.). Il lancio è previsto in Maggio 1989 dalla base NSBF di Palestine in Texas (U.S.A.).

Предлагается эксперимент на аэростате для измерения космологического фона в ближнем инфракрасном диапазоне (1÷5) мкм. Прибор, охлаждаемый жидким гелием телескоп (250 мм,F2), бьл построен в инфракрасной лаборатории I.TE.S.R.E. национального центра исследований в Болонье (Италия) в коллаборации с колледжем Хаверфорда (РА-США). Аэростат был запущен в мае 1989 года с базы NSBF Палестины в штате Техас (США).
