Condensation of cosmic analog material in microgravity conditions: Preliminary analysis of a first set of flights

  • Published:

Summary

In this paper we give a brief summary of the first results obtained in the frame of the STARDUST project. The aim of the experiment is to simulate the condensation of cosmic-dust analog materials under microgravity conditions. This approach will allow to reproduce actual condensation processes active in space better than in the laboratory experiments performed so far.
