Abstract
The interactions of (Me3SiCH2)4V and (Me3SiCH2)3V·THF with cyclopentadiene have been studied. Me4Si and Cp2V were isolated. A scheme of the reactions was proposed which involves formation of unstable monocyclopentadienyl derivatives of vanadium.
