Abstract
The dependence of the systematic measurement error of the coefficients of the linear empirical regression equation of the number of experimental points and their relative position is analyzed. Equations are presented for estimating the limiting errors of the coefficients. The optimal strategy for the design of a measurement experiment is discussed. The results are illustrated with examples.
