Abstract

It is shown that for transmission transducers in a microwave multimeter, the requirement for best matching with the channel is insufficient, since the mutual arrangement of the pickups also determines the stability of the data processing algorithm. For certain values of the overlap coefficients of the frequency band, and depending on the number of pickups, one can simultaneously achieve best matching and the highest algorithm stability.
