Abstract
A method for the practical determination of the main polarization characteristics of an electromagnetic field, the orientation of the plane of the polarization ellipse of which is unknowna priori, is proposed. The method uses a rotating measuring antenna with an arbitrary but known polarization, the aperture plane of which makes a certain angle with the axis of rotation.
