Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Abstract

Heat capacity is determined by calculating the number of zeros in random temperature fluctuations induced in the specimen by a source of white noise and the number of zeros in the white noise of a reference transducer. The method is also used to measure absolute temperature and the temperature derivative in heart transfer. It was developed to study the heat capacity of thin wire specimens of refractory metals and alloys at high temperatures.
