Abstract

A thin-film sensor for detection of emergency situations in fuel cells of electrochemical generators is proposed. Experimental results of emergency modeling are presented. It is shown that the thin-film sensor can function as a high-speed warning device. A system is proposed for emergency shutdown by means of a thermal pulse from the thin-film sensor.
