Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Abstract

The operating principle of the automated vibrating-plate viscosimeter described is based on measurement of the damping factor of a torsion pendulum in a controllable medium. The results of the measurements are fed into a personal computer through a custom-made interface card. The meter has a measuring ranges from 0.001 to 30 Pa-sec with a basic reduced error of 2.5%.
