Conclusions

  1. 1.

Practical standard parameters are developed by the radioisotope method in order to obtain rapid, high-quality, and reliable analyses of loose ore directly at the face in modeling systems of workings. These reflect the relation between the attenuation of gamma rays and the surface density, iron content, and impoverishment of the ores (magnetite, martite, and red) in the Krivoi Rog field.

  2. 2.

Realization of the results enables us to treat successfully and accurately the indices under consideration at any points across the ore mass in the face area of the model, in either dynamic or static states.

  3. 3.

The use of radioactive isotopes to determine the physicomechanical characteristics and qualitative composition of ores enables us to improve the modeling of technological processes of breaking down and discharge of ore, and to make deeper studies of the physical nature of the process of breaking down ore by various methods.
