Conclusions
-
1.
The combined use of starch and hydroxyethylated compounds leads to formation of complex adsorption structures at the interfaces, exerting an effect on the rate of flotation of apatite, calcite, and dolomite by carboxylic acids.
-
2.
Extractions of minerals in the presence of complexes in individual periods of time pass through a maximum, which is not observed when individual compounds (starch, hydroxyethylated substance) are used. Calcite and dolomite have lower initial flotation rates than apatite.
-
3.
The properties of complex adsorption structures may be used for selective flotation of apatite from carbonate-containing ores.
