Conclusions
-
1.
An experimental method has been developed for determining the energy expended on various types of deformation during the fragmentation of rocks by blasting.
-
2.
The absolute values of the energy expended on elastic and plastic deformation in the fragmentation of diabase specimens by blasting have been measured experimentally, and the blasting effiency calculated for various blasting conditions.
-
3.
Experimental curves have been measured for the relation between the energy expenditure and the degree of fragmentation of diabase specimens: these curves are nonlinear.
