Conclusion
-
1.
The model of fracture by a percussive tool, developed by the authors, qualitatively, represents the overall fracture pattern, particularly the existence of a core; it permits calculation of the grain-size composition and the characteristic dimensions of the fracture hole.
-
2.
An example of the operation of a percussive tool, particularly the optimal operating conditions, is examined.
