Summary

The liquid-chromatographic separation of the enantiomers of pyrethroic acids and their esters has been investigated on a polysaccharide-derived chiral stationary phase (CSP), Chiralpak AS. Good separation of the enantiomers of underivatized pyrethroic acids was achieved on the column, and the enantiomers of pyrethroic acid methyl and ethyl ester derivatives were also resolved.
