Abstract
The Nadi (naphthol and diamine) reaction was applied to rice-peroxidase stains on starch gels, where various amine-phenol combinations were used in the presence of hydrogen peroxide. These combinations brought about specific color products on the gels. Among these,o-dianisidine-2-naphthol gave the largest number of detectable bands of comparatively stable color.
