Abstract

Effects of some chemicals on the activities of two ribonuclease isozymes, M and F, in the leaves ofNicotiana glutinosa were investigated. CHX and AMD suppressed the increase of M isozyme activity induced with mock-inoculation. On the other hand, CHX suppressed slightly the increase of F izozyme activity induced with TMV-inoculation, but AMD and 5-FU stimulated it.
