Jack W. Nickson, formerly Professor of Economics at Old Dominion University passed away on December 5, 1975. Carl M. Colonna is Assistant Professor of Economics at Christopher Newport College. Paper presented before a session on Cultural Economics at the annual convention of the Eastern Economics Association, Bloomsburg, PA., April 15–17, 1976. John Stein, whose comment follows is a Research Economist, Rand Corporation.
