Résumé

Après avoir examiné les termes «ouvrabilité», «consistance», et d’autres termes parents, on présente et on critique différent principes de mesure de la consistance tels que: l’affaissement, l’écoulement, le remoulage, la pénétration, la compactibilité, etc... On examine aussi les mécanismes des divers essais de consistance.

Summary

After the discussion of the terms “workability, consistency”, and other related terms, several principles applied for measuring consistency are presented and evaluated. Such principles are: slump, flow, remolding, penetration, compactibility, etc. The mechanisms of the various consistency tests are also discussed.
