Abstract
The essential concepts of dynamic radiography are discussed and the apparatus and methods used to monitor surface motion are described. Initial experiments with a model simulating the heart-lung interface are presented to demonstrate the manner in which the physical properties of a dynamic system may be interrogated. A cardiac study with anaesthetised dogs is also presented to demonstrate the applicability of the technique to a biological system. Methods of data accumulation and analysis are described which will be used in further studies of cardiac function and condition.
Sommaire
