Abstract
The application of low-frequency parametric (l.p.f.) amplifiers as e.e.g. preamplifiers reveals a notable interdependence between the input admittance and the tank-circuit tuning.
In contrast to modulators using varactors, where the input admittance is a function of the pump voltage only, the input admittance of an l.f.p. amplifier is also a function of the tankcircuit detuning. The real part of the input admittance can be positive or negative, which means that self oscillation may occur.
Sommaire
