Wideband electromechanical stimulator

Abstract

An electromechanical stimulator with wideband characteristics is described. Nonlinear control techniques have been used to achieve a fast rise time, a speedy settling time, and a very small steady-state error. The device has been used in quantitative investigations on cutaneous receptor units.
