A six channel scanning system for digital recording and analysis of pulmonary function data

Abstract

A system is described for the storage and retrieval in digital form of nucleonic data obtained from dynamic isotope studies using133Xe in the routine investigation of pulmonary function. The application of integrated circuits to various functions in the system is discussed with some specific examples of their use.

Un système est décrit pour l'emmagasinage et le recouvrement en forme numérique des données nucléoniques acquises au moyen des isotopes dynamiques, employant133Xe pendant des examens courants de la fonction pulmonaire, L'application des circuits intégrés pour des rôles différents dans le système total est discutée et des exemples particuliers sont donnés.

Zusammenfassung

Ein System zur Speicherung und zur Digitalausspeicherung nuklearer Daten wird beschrieben, die unter Verwendung von133Xe mit dynamischen Isotopversuchen während der normalen Untersuchung der pulmonalen Funktion erhalten wurden. Die Anwendung integrierter Schaltungen auf verschiedene Funktionen bei diesem System wird an Hand einiger spezifischer Anwendungsbeispiele erörtert.
