Effect of lithium addition on the performance of proton-conducting catalysts for oxidative coupling of methane under microwave irradiation

Abstract

The oxidative coupling of methane over lithium modified proton-conducting catalysts irradiated by microwaves has been studied. Compared with protonconducting catalysts, lithium addition to proton-conducting catalysts resulted in changes in product species and product selectivities, favoring the production of C2 compounds.
