Photophysical properties of 3-azafluorenone

Abstract

Photophysical properties of 3-azafluorenone have been studied in acetonitrile at room temperature (296 K). Its fluorescence quantum yield and fluorescence lifetime were found to be lower than those of fluorenone due to the higher rate of nonradiative processes.
