Analytical solutions for transient thermal behavior in biological systems

Abstract

Analytical solutions are presented for transient heat conduction in biological media. General boundary conditions and internal sources varied in both spatial and time variables are considered, thus, solutions for many special cases can be obtained with ease from the general solutions presented in this analysis.
