Abstract
Simple reaction and discrimination reaction, under the influence of imitation, are considered for the situation in which the stimulus or the stimuli vary slowly with time. The result is analogous to hysteresis under certain conditions. The calculations are facilitated by the solution of
g(ξ) being the normal error function. Values ofx(α, β) are given in a table.
