Abstract
Kinetics of the liquid phase esterification of acrylic acid withn-octanol and 2-ethylhexanol catalyzed by sulfuric acid has been studied in an isothermal semibatch reactor. The reaction appears to be second order. The kinetic parameters have been determined.
