Rhenium deposition on platinum surface by reduction of perrhenic acid with methanol

Abstract

It has been demonstrated that rhenium deposition onto Pt surface can be carried out by reduction of perrhenic acid with methanol and results in the same adsorbed species as its reduction either with hydrogen or with electric polarization.
