Abstract

The present paper is devoted to a new direction of work aimed at creating electric furnaces by the method of module design. The method makes it possible to create furnaces with various heights of the functional space for any industrial conditions, reduce the design time from 3 to 1 months, and shorten the time of assembling the shaft furnaces. The cost of the furnaces is reduced by 30%.
