Summary
The hydration between 0 and 24 hours of six French cements was followed by X-ray diffraction, using a hydration cell and a translation camera for the continuous recording of the rays. After description of the instrumentation, the main characteristics of the cements studied are given, the sequences of hydration are next examined in detail, at temperatures ranging from 40°C to 60°C. A number of technological details.
