Abstract
The accuracy of three electrochemical laboratory techniques aimed at evaluating the corrosion rate of galvanized rods immersed in solutions is discussed. These techniques are polarization resistance, electrochemical impedance and harmonic analysis. The values of corrosion intensity obtained from these techniques were compared with those obtained gravimetrically. The values of the Stern-Geary constantB obtained by polarization curves and harmonic analysis were compared with one another as well
