Internal herniation through gastrocolic and gastrohepatic omenta

Abstract

An unusual case of internal hernia is presented. The patient underwent surgery for intestinal obstruction. The herniation occurred through defects in both the gastrocolic and gastrohepatic omenta. Herniation of this nature has apparently never been documented.
