Summary

An accordeon-like kinking of the carotid artery may be caused by pushing the artery during the insertion of the needle in carotid angiography.

Un «Kinking» artificiel en forme d’accordéon de la carotide interne peut être provoqué par la ponction de l’artère au cours de l’angiographie carotidienne.

Zusammenfassung

Ein Akkordeon-ähnliches „Kinking” der Karotis kann durch einen dem Gefäß mittels der Nadel erteilten Faltenverlauf hervorgerufen werden.
