Summary and conclusion
During past one year, pancreatoduodenectomy was carried out in 7 patients.
One operative death was encountered due to his vascular anomaly. The operative mortality rate was 14 per cent.
Reconstructions of the gastrointestinal continuity were performed in 2 cases by a method of original Child's procedure and in 5 by a modification of child's procedure using jejunal loop en P.
Importance of preoperative study of hepatic arteriography was emphasized in performing pancreatoduodenectomy.
