Identification of affinity ligands from peptide libraries and their applications
- 26 Downloads
Combinatorial peptide libraries may be screened to identify novel ligands for use in the affinity purification of proteins. Strategies for the screening of libraries are summarized and characterization of the interaction of a particular target protein (fibrinogen) with a ligand (FLLVPL) is described. Factors important for implementing an affinity resin in a production environment are highlighted.
