Prospects for using flows of charged particles in surface engineering

Conclusion

Ion and electron kinds of treatment are promising processes for surface engineering, in particular, for treating high-temperature steels and alloys. Some of them are already employed in aircraft engineering. Others can be introduced after the creation of the requisite efficient and reliable equipment.
