Abstract
Diffusion saturation of surfaces of parts with various elements is widely used in industry as an effective method for improving their functional properties and service life. Circulation saturation with alloying elements in active gas media is of considerable interest. The present paper concerns results of the development of a process for circulation coating of plain electrical steels 20864 and 20895 used for magnetic circuits of low-frequency electrical relays and other equipment with the aim of increasing their corrosion resistance without worsening their magnetic properties.
