Abstract

Principles of the physicochemical interaction between various types of soils and acids and alkalis are examined. A method is developed for the complex assessment of the chemical heaving of soils under laboratory conditions. Experimental relationships are derived between the chemical heaving of various types of soils and the effect of certain forms of aggressive solutions most frequently encountered in the production process of a number of industries.
