Transmission of vertical oscillations from machine foundations to adjacent building foundations

Abstract

Test results are presented for the transmission of harmonic vertical oscillations from machine foundations to adjacent frame foundations and building walls, and an equation is proposed for determination of the coefficient of this transfer.
