Abstract

Theoretical and experimental investigations on determination of basic rheological parameters of structural grouts, and the dynamics of their variation during injection into saturated noncohesive soils are examined. A procedure is cited for determination of characteristics basic to the design of injection operations (permeability, dynamic shear stress, structural viscosity, initial seepage gradient) and the dynamics of their variation under excess pressure.
