Abstract
The hyphomycete speciesTripospermum chiayiense is considered to be conspecific withOrdus tribrachiatus, and the former has nomenclatural priority according to Art. 11.4 of ICBN. In view of its conidial morphology, this species cannot be placed in the genusTripospermum, and a new combination,Ordus chiayiensis, is proposed.
