Abstract
In this paper, the sliding surface algorithms in dynamic finite element analysis of high velocity impact are presented. With these algorithms, the momentum and the angular momentum of the element can be conserved. The calculated examples show that the calculation using these algorithms in dynamic finite element analysis of high velocity is valid and stable.
