Abstract

A conference of steelmakers was held at the Moscow concern Metallurgprom in March of this year, the discussion centering on the development, introduction, and use of equipment and technologies for the treatment of steel outside the furnace. The conference involved the participation of representatives of metallurgical plants in Russia, Ukraine, Moldavia, and Belarus, as well as foreign suppliers of equipment and materials for out-of-furnace treatments of steel.
