Thoracic impedance of human subjects

Abstract

A means for the measurement of the thoracic impedance of human subjects is described, and some account is given of its application under conditions of emergency in a hospital. The results obtained are presented in various ways, and some inferences are drawn regarding the inter-relation of the various parameters and quantities involved.

La thèse décrit un moyen de l'impédance thoracique chez les sujets humains, et rapporte quelques-unes de ses applications, dans des cas d'urgence en hópital. Elle présente également les résultats obtenus de plusieurs manières, et tire quelques inférences sur la relation entre les différents paramètres et les quantités concernées.

Zusammenfassung

Es wird ein Verfahren zur Messung des thorakalen Widerstands beim Menschen beschrieben, und es wird auf seine Anwendung bei Notfällen in Krankenhäusern eingegangen. Die erzielten Resultate werden auf verschiedene Weise dargestellt, und es werden einige Schlüsse hinsichtlich des Zusammenhangs der verschiedenen Parameter und Mengen untereinander gezogen.
