Abstract
A family case of sternal foramen is described and the shape of the foramen is emphasized, since it is the same in the father and in the son. Examples from older populations (French Medieval and Canadian Amerindian) confirm the importance of the foramen's shape and bring to light the difficulties in the study of necropolis and ossuary familial concentrations.
