Conclusions

  1. 1.

When assembling and reconstructing units it is expedient that the customer take into account the opinion of Spetsgidroénergomontazh, expressed as expert advice with respect to design estimates, for the purpose of increasing the technological efficiency of assembly works, operation, and overhaul, reducing the cost of equipment, and shortening the time of construction and assembly works.

  2. 2.

Assembling and dismantling the units as enlarged components confirmed its technological efficiency, improvement of quality, and shortening of the time of construction, assembly, and overhaul works, and therefore the customer in coordination with the manufacturing plants must provide for special assembly devices.

  3. 3.

The capacity of the crane equipment of the powerhouse machine hall can be reduced not only by using generators with a detachable rotor but also by assembling the rotor in the assembly area without the poles, which is technologically more efficient and should be stipulated in the technological design standards of hydroelectric and pumped-storage stations.
