Abstract

Stimulating effect of antiserotonin antibodies on phagocyte activity of peritoneal macrophages from C57B1/6 mice is demonstrated both after systemic administration and in a cell culture. In vitro experiments show that serotonin and antiserotonin antibodies exert similar effects. A possible mechanism of neurotropic effect of antiserotonin antibodies involving immunocompetent cells is discussed.
