Conclusions

  1. 1.

    Construction and operation of the Sayano-Shushenskoe hydrostation has not introduced noticeable deviations into the terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems of the region with respect to the most important indices-climate and water quality.

  2. 2.

    It is necessary to continue monitoring the aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems for accumulating a databank on the effect of the hydropower complex on the environment.
